Rivers State sole administrator, Vice Admiral Ibokette Ibas resumes office today.
The sole administrator of Rivers State, Vice- Admiral Ibokette Ibas has arrived at the Rivers State Government House today, 20th March, 2025.
After being sworn-in by president Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday, the sole administrator was expected to report to duties despite severe criticisms that heralded his coming into power.
It was reported that he arrived yesterday at the Port Harcourt International Airport at about 11:25 am and was received by top officials and security personnel.

Today, Vice- Admiral Ibas was accompanied by the state Commissioner of Police, Olugbenga Adepoju and the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 16, to the Government House, Port Harcourt.
He immediately organized a closed door meeting with some senior security officers, Federal Government delegates and state government officials.
