BREAKING: Wike Makes List as PDP Announces Presidential Campaign Council

The Peoples Democratic Party has announced its Presidential Campaign Council ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal emerged Director General, while Akwa-Ibom counterpart, Udom Emmanuel is the Chairman of the council.

Others include Bauchi state governor, Bala Mohammed, Vice Chairman (North) and the governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde, Vice Chairman (South).

However, Governor Nyesom Wike also appeared as a member of the council.

The announcement of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council is coming on the heels of several issues within the party.

Governor Wike and other southern members of the party have continued to seek the resignation of the PDP National Chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu.

Also, there is a court case seeking for the cancellation of the primary election that produced Atiku Abubakar as flag bearer of the party.
