Aggrieved youths have taken to the popular East-West Road to protest incessant raids by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

Daily Report gathered that the youths barricaded parts of the road in Warri and Ughelli, following recent raids in the areas by the anti-graft agency.

Recall that over 90 suspected internet fruadsters otherwise known as Yahoo Boys, were arrested by the Commission in raids that took place in Warri, Jeddo, Ubeji and other neighboring towns.

The protesting youths blocked part of the road with wood and as well burnt tyres as some distanced themselves from being perpetrators of internet fraud.

“Not every young boy who is doing well is a Yahoo Boy (internet fraudster),” one of the protesters said.
