British-Nigeria Commissioner Reacts to Ondo Attack

British-Nigeria Commissioner Reacts to Ondo Attack | Daily Report Nigeria

Catriona Laing, a British High Commissioner to Nigeria,
condemned the gruesome terrorist attack and killing of several worshippers during a church service at St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State.

Laing strongly decried via Twitter, the raid on innocent worshippers, Sunday, June 5. She also consoled the bereaved.

It was gathered that gunmen stormed the church on Pentecost Sunday and killed over 50 souls both male, female, and children.

Reacting, Laing said:
“Terrible news today from Owo in Ondo state.”

“I condemn those responsible for this horrific crime.

“I extend my sympathies to all those affected.”
