Ọlawale Ọlọfọrọ, the unconventional singer known as Brymo, recently shared his opinion that his fellow artist Burna Boy doesn’t meet his musical standards. Brymo made this statement during an episode of “Curiosity Made Me Ask,” hosted by skit maker Bae U Barbie, while responding to Burna Boy’s diss freestyle aimed at him, where Burna Boy suggested that Brymo had “fallen off.”
The disagreement between the two artists stems from an incident last October when Brymo accused Burna of song theft. Brymo alleged that Burna Boy’s tracks “City Boys” and “I Told Them” sampled the title track of his upcoming album, “Macabre.”
“Is it [the diss freestyle] not Burna Boy lyrics? But he would like to know that nothing in this world would put his name in my song. He no reach my standard,” the singer said.

Brymo also said that he is the “finest vocalist” in Africa.
“I’m not proud enough. I’m probably the finest vocalist on the continent. Better than anybody. I’m not thinking. I know this,” he said.
“And yeah, even Twitter guys can’t disagree with him despite the hate. You can win an Award, but that doesn’t mean you’re the best man for that award.”
