President Muhammadu Buhari has once again reassured the world that he has no plan to rule Nigeria for a third term.

Few months ago, there was rumour that the president was nursing third term ambition as Nigerian president.

But, speaking at a bilateral meeting with British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, on Thursday, Buhari reiterated his resolve to respect the maximum term limit in the Nigerian Constitution .

At the meeting, which was held on the margins of the 26th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Kigali, Rwanda, the PM had asked if Buhari would run for office again.

“Another term for me? No! The first person who tried it didn’t end very well”, he replied.
