The Union Berlin forward has enchanted Der BVB who recently show interest in sealing his move to Westfalenstadion.
Marco Rose’s side want the former Liverpool star to replace Erling Haaland should he leave in the summer.

In previous times, the Norwegian striker, Erling Haaland has attracted interest from a hosts of European big clubs including the Champions League holders, Chelsea and Barcelona.
The current leaders in the Spanish LaLiga, Real Madrid as well as English Premier League leaders, Manchester City have also been linked with the ex-Red Bull Salzburg man.
According to recent reports, the clubs are ready to reawake their interests in the summer.
That said, the Black and Yellows have promised not to prevent the winner of the 2020 Golden Boy from finding the exit door out of BVB if he eventually chooses to.
To avoid ‘had we known’, the club have started bidding for the Ilorin-born Awoniyi.

The 24-year-old Nigerian has registered nine league goals to his name in the ongoing season.
He has therefore, grabbed 15 goals in 27 appearances in all competitions for Union Berlin so far.
Awoniyi joined Die Eisernen on a permanent transfer in 2021 after being on loan to different clubs since he signed for Liverpool in 2015.
Awoniyi whose style of play has been likened to that of Rashidi Yekini, Nigeria’s all-time highest goalscorer is now valued at €30m by the Iron Ones.
Meanwhile, Awoniyi was on target in Nigeria’s 3-1 victory against Sudan in the ongoing African Cup Of Nations.
