Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy, born Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, has made history as the first African artiste to gross over $1 million from a single concert in the Oceania region.
The record was achieved during the Sydney stop of his No Sign Of Weakness tour at Qudos Bank Arena on October 18, 2025, where the concert reportedly generated $1.117 million in revenue.

According to global tour monitoring platform Touring Data, the No Sign Of Weakness tour also set another record as the highest-grossing tour by an African artiste in Oceania’s history.
The platform reported that the tour generated a total of $3.1 million from four shows in the region, with over 31,000 tickets sold.
Data released by Touring Data showed that the Australian leg of the tour recorded 30,946 tickets sold across the four concerts at an average ticket price of $100.94, bringing the average revenue per show to about $772,791.
The No Sign Of Weakness tour featured about 20 shows across three continents — North America, Europe and Oceania — further expanding Burna Boy’s global audience.
With the latest achievement, Burna Boy has also become the first African artiste in history to gross more than $1 million from a single concert in three different continents, further cementing his status as one of Africa’s biggest global music exports.
