The African giant as he is popularly called has won a BET award for the third time.

The BET awards took place on the 27th June at los Angeles, USA.

Burna boy was nominated in the category of the Best International Act, and he didn’t fail to show why he is being referred to as the giant of Africa, by winning the award.

The singer was nominated in the category alongside Aya Nakamura (France), Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania), Emicida (Brazil), Headie One (UK), Wizkid (Nigeria), Young T & Bugsey (UK), Youssoupha (France).

Andra Day, H.E.R., Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion and Silk Sonic were among the winners at the 2021 BET Awards, which were handed out Sunday night at a live, in-person show that felt like a return to pre-pandemic norms.
