A group under the aegis of Pondi Grassroots Movement, has described Julius Pondi as the right representative for the Burutu Federal Constituency.
In a chat with our correspondent on Sunday, the PGM Coordinator, Roland Dede, urged delegates to vote for the youthful lawmaker ahead of the House of Representatives primary election of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
The PMG argued that the track record of Pondi in all ramifications qualifies him as the best man for the job, using the bills, motions and projects executed by the lawmaker as a pointer to prove his commitment to the welfare of Burutu people.

“Pondi is undoubtedly the right man for the Burutu Federal Constituency. His track record says it all. He has remained a forceful lawmaker in the House and is worthy of a return.
“Our plea is for all delegates to vote for the right man in the forthcoming PDP primary election, to enable him become the party’s flag bearer ahead of the main election.
“He is the most people-friendly representative the people have seen and should be given the opportunity to continue in that light.
According to Dede, “Burutu is experiencing a paradigm shift under Pondi, and as such, it is only fair that the momentum is sustained.”
Julius Pondi, who is the incumbent lawmaker representing Burutu Federal Constituency, is seeking a third term in the Green Chamber.
