Angele priotizes security, health for second term

Following his reception of the Party’s flag from Ebike Oromoni, the Burutu chairmanship candidate of the PDP, Hon Godknows Angele declared he will tackle insecurity, health infrastructure among other sectors when voted into power for a second term.

According to Angele, the next administration will work hand-in-hand with communities in a bid to curb both internal and external security concerns.

“Communities will be made to submit their constitutions to be reviewed by the legislative arm to enable us curb internal communal clashes,” Angele stated.

Speaking further, “the market in Ogulagha will be completed and all health facilities in the local government will be attended to render quality services to the good people of Burutu.”

The former Aide to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa also emphasized on improving human capital development if voted into power again.

“I didn’t disappoint in my first tenure and I won’t disappoint in the second,” he concluded.

Takeme rallies support for Angele, charges PDP faithfuls

On his part, the Delta South Chairman of the PDP, Chief Julius Takeme called on the people of Burutu to return Angele for a second term as well as all councillorship candidates of the PDP.

He stated that “Angele has performed very well in the administration of the resources of Burutu LGA. I’m very certain he will maintain the tempo in his second tenure when voted in.”

To PDP faithfuls in the local government, he said “It is time to reaffirm our grip in Burutu for PDP is Burutu and Burutu is PDP.

“The campaign should be ward driven. Angele’s antecedent is bare for all to see and as such, all PDP faithfuls must embrace this course,” he concluded.
