By-Election: APC Releases Timetable, Fixes N20m, N10m, N2m Form Fees

Ahead of the by-elections for state and national assembly seats, the All Progressives Congress has released timetable and schedule of activities for the elections slated for February 3rd, 2024.

Daily Report Nigeria reports that the timetable was posted on the ruling party’s X account on Monday.

The released timetable was signed by the APC National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu.

According to the announcement, sale of nominations, expressions of Interest, and delegate forms will commence on Wednesday, December 27th – January 2nd, 2023.

The last day for submission of completed expressions of interest, nomination forms, and delegates nomination forms with accompanying documents is Wednesday, January 3, 2024.

The primary elections will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, while the election day is Saturday, February 3, 2024.

The total price for the Expression of Interest and Nomination forms for the Senate, House of Representatives, and House of Assembly is N20m, N10m, and N2m respectively.

The statement noted that “Female aspirants and Persons Living with Disabilities are to purchase the Expression of Interest Form while the Nomination Form is Free.”

It also stated that youths between the ages of 25 and 40 are to purchase the Expression of Interest Form with a 50% discount on the Nomination Form.

“Expression of Interest Form and Nomination Form will be available for purchase at the Directorate of Organisation, 2nd Floor, APC National Headquarters, Wuse II, Abuja,” the statement read
