Rivers United have touched down in Uyo ahead of Wednesday’s CAF Confederation Cup clash against Daring Club Motema Pembe of Democratic Republic of Congo.

The Nigerian champions has be given the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, for their home games.

The original home ground, Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt was not approved to host international matches by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

The Pride of Rivers defeated the Congolese 1-0 in Luanda on matchday three.
Stanley Eguma’s side top Group B with six points from three games.

ASEC Mimosas of Cote d’Ivoire and Diables Noire from Congo are the other teams in the group.
