The Confederation of African Football (CAF) will announce its ruling on the contentious AFCON qualifying match between Libya and Nigeria this Wednesday.
The match, initially scheduled for October 15 at the Benina Martyrs Stadium, was canceled under dramatic circumstances.
Reports indicate that the Libyan Football Federation has submitted extensive documentation regarding the events surrounding the first leg, which Nigeria won 1-0.
The controversy arose when Nigeria’s travel plans were disrupted, leading to a nearly 17-hour ordeal at Al Abraq International Airport, approximately three hours from the intended venue.
