Chelsea head coach, Thomas Tuchel has confirmed the doubtfulness his team is currently facing.

The 48-year-old manager also revealed that he was not oblivious of the allegation levied against the Blues over the current Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Labour MP, Chris Bryant told the lower house of the Parliament of the UK (House of Commons) that the Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich who is a Russian be deprived of his assets following his country’s attack on Ukraine last Tuesday.

Bryant also observed that the 55-year-old billionaire politician should not be permitted to run a football club himself.

The ex-Borussia Dortmund’s manager told reporters ahead of side’s EFL final clash against Liverpool coming Sunday, that the present situation in Ukraine and the potential aftermath’s hazing over his team’s thoughts.

Tuchel said: “We shouldn’t pretend this is not an issue. The situation for everyone here is horrible. Nobody expected this, it’s pretty unreal.”

“It’s clouding our minds, and our excitement towards the final. It brings huge uncertainty, much more to all people in the moment more involved than us. We send our best wishes and regards to them, obviously.”

He added: “Still there are so many uncertainties around the situation of our club, in the UK with scenarios like this, that it makes no sense if I comment on it. We’re aware of it, we haven’t got so much insight or inside information than you might think, and in the very end, I think it’s also the right from the team and staff to not be political, to focus on sports. Not because we are hiding, but the situation is clear, it’s horrible, no doubt about it.”

Meanwhile, the London club already have their foot in the door to lift the third trophy of the season when they face Jurgen Klopp’s men tomorrow evening.

The Blues have already raised UEFA Super Cup against Villareal last year August and FIFA Club World Cup last month.
