Cardi B recently shared that she almost suffered a miscarriage due to a “freak accident” that left her temporarily paralyzed. While the rapper didn’t detail what exactly happened, she explained that the incident was severe enough to endanger her pregnancy.
In a conversation with fans on X, Cardi B, who is currently expecting her third child, recounted how the accident had her in such a state that she feared for the life of her unborn baby. “I had a freak accident… to the point I was literally paralyzed. It almost cost me my little one,” she revealed.
Fortunately, the worst was avoided, and she didn’t lose the baby. After the ordeal, Cardi returned home from the hospital, heavily medicated on morphine to manage the pain. She mentioned that she wouldn’t hesitate to go back if the pain continued.

This news comes shortly after Cardi B confirmed that her husband, Offset, is the father of her third child, despite their ongoing divorce proceedings. The couple, who secretly married in 2017, already shares two children: daughter Kulture, 6, and son Wave, 2. Cardi is seeking primary custody of the children in the divorce.
