The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, has assured that the Nigerian military is committed to ensuring a free, fair, and credible election in Edo State.
Addressing troops at the headquarters of the 4 Brigade of the Nigerian Army, General Musa emphasized the importance of a peaceful and secure electoral process.
He stated that the military, along with other security agencies, will work together to prevent any form of intimidation or disturbance during the election.
General Musa also stressed that the military’s role is to provide security and ensure that the election is conducted without any rancor.

He warned that anyone found carrying weapons or causing disturbance will be apprehended.

The CDS expressed confidence that the military can make a positive impact and ensure a successful election, just as they did in previous states.
