The cold hands of death has taken one Ogubode Adedamola, a 28-year-old fresh graduate of the Lagos state University few months to his convocation.
Adedamola, who is a graduate of Political Science Education was said to have visited a pastor, before he went missing.
According to reports, his girlfriend had called him, when he disclosed to her that he was at the church, in CCC Ileri Oluwa Parish, LASU 2 with the pastor, Evangelist Whepetoji Babaniyeh and would call her back, but he never did.
The girlfriend lodged a complaint after he wasn’t heard from again, and upon receipt of the complaint, the police swung into action, storming the church.
The pastor initially denied knowing the man or his whereabouts, but investigations into his bank transactions showed he received the sum of 1.5 million, which he claimed was for thanksgiving.

He was subsequently detained, and further investigation led to the lifeless corpse of Adedamola buried in a near the church.
Investigation is still ongoing.
Adedamola was meant to attend his convocation alongside his peers on April 3rd 2025.
