Manchester City kicked off their pre-season tour of the US with a surprising 4-3 loss to Celtic. Despite fielding stars like Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish, City couldn’t overcome the Scottish champions.
Celtic opened the scoring with a well-executed goal by Nicolas-Gerrit Kuhn. City’s Oscar Bobb equalized, but Brendan Rodgers’ side responded with goals from Kuhn and Kyogo Furuhashi to lead 3-1 at halftime.

Máximo Perrone quickly scored for City in the second half, followed by a third goal from Haaland. However, Celtic’s Luis Palma sealed their victory with the seventh goal of the match.
