Charly Boy To Hold Thanksgiving For Surviving Prostrate Cancer

Well-known Nigerian singer and activist, Charles Oputa, known otherwise as Charly Boy has announced his plan to hold a thanksgiving service on Saturday for his life.

This comes after he battled prostate cancer for more than 10 days.

In a post on his Instagram page, Charly Boy shared his story of overcoming the illness.

He expressed gratitude to God for sparing his life, thanked his family for their support, and also thanked the Nigerian surgeon who treated him.

Charly Boy believed that God has bestowed upon him the greatest favor by allowing him to survive prostate cancer.

He posted a video of himself being wheeled out of the theater, which showed the difficult journey he had to go through.

Despite this, he remained optimistic and grateful for his life.

He said:

“I have fought one too many battles in my short life.
Most of the time, I win.

Prostate cancer cannot cripple love, it cannot shatter hope, it cannot conquer his spirit.

“Abegi makes una help me thank God for giving me yet another chance.

“I dey go thank God for sparing my life, from Prostrate Cancer.

“Hopefully, my instrument go begin function again, I go let una know cos I go do another Thanksgiving for dat one.

“It’s not easy to be a Manoooo.”
