England international, Raheem Sterling is close to a permanent switch to Chelsea after agreeing on personal terms with the Stamford Bridge outfit.

This will see the player earn around £300,000 per week, making him Chelsea’s highest-paid player.

Talks over a fee for Sterling who has one year remaining on his City contract will be concluded within the next 24 hours and it is said to be in the region of £45 – 55 million + ad ons.

Raheem Sterling is expected to be Todd Boehly’s first major signing since he became the new owner at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea hosts a lot of transfer activities this summer following the departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen which have already been confirmed by the club.

However, they may not be the last to leave. Cesar Azpilicueta, Marcos Alonso, Christian Pulisic, Timo Werner, and Hakim Ziyech have all been linked with moves away from the club.
