Chelsea and Mauricio Pochettino Part Ways by Mutual Consent

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has left the club by mutual consent, according to Sky Sports.

Pochettino, who signed a two-year deal when he arrived at Stamford Bridge last summer, led Chelsea to a sixth-place finish with a strong end to the campaign.

However, Mauricio Pochettino reportedly clashed with owners Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital.

Pochettino is Chelsea’s sixth permanent manager in five years, following the departures of Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter last season, which saw Frank Lampard take temporary charge.
