Chelsea are reportedly nearing a deal to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli this summer. According to journalist Miguel Delaney, the Blues have been in negotiations with Napoli, and while the talks have been challenging, a breakthrough appears to be on the horizon.
Victor Osimhen, 25, has a €130 million release clause in his contract, but Chelsea is reluctant to meet that figure outright. Instead, they are exploring a deal that would include Romelu Lukaku as part of the offer.
Napoli is open to this arrangement, with new manager Antonio Conte interested in having Lukaku lead his attack this season.

Lukaku, who is no longer in Chelsea’s plans, is expected to be allowed to leave. However, Osimhen is reportedly seeking wages close to £200,000 per week to make the move to Stamford Bridge.
Although Chelsea has recently imposed a strict wage structure, they are prepared to make an exception for the Nigerian striker.
