The nine dropped players together cost more than £200 million.
They include England internationals Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell, plus Armando Broja, Lesley Ugochukwu, academy graduate Alfie Gilchrist, Axel Disasi, Carney Chukwuemeka, Renato Veiga and David Datro Fofana.
Although Chelsea haven’t officially commented, the removals make clear who Maresca doesn’t plan to use next season.
Curiously, Mykhailo Mudryk still appears on the site, despite facing an FA doping charge and possible suspension.
By slimming down a crowded roster, Chelsea aim to launch Maresca’s era with a leaner, more focused squad.
