Chelsea are reportedly considering two alternatives to Victor Osimhen due to the striker’s high wage demands.

The Premier League club has been eager to sign a top striker, with Victor Osimhen being a long-standing target. However, his request to leave Napoli this summer and his hefty salary demands — reportedly around £500,000 a week, which would make him the highest-paid player in the Premier League — have caused Chelsea to explore other options.

Talks with Osimhen’s representatives have been ongoing for weeks, but there has been no agreement yet. With Paris Saint-Germain dropping their interest in the Nigerian international, Chelsea have shifted their focus to other attackers.

According to The Sun, Chelsea are now considering Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Juventus’ Federico Chiesa. Calvert-Lewin has one year left on his contract with Everton, while Chiesa is available for transfer this summer.
