After the surprise statement made by Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich, N’Golo Kante says Chelsea players must stay focused on finishing in the top four.

After 19 highly successful years at the helm of Chelsea, Abramovich has put the club up for sale, ushering in a period of great uncertainty for the Blues, who had struggled to compete for titles prior to his arrival.

Thomas Tuchel’s team travels to Burnley next, and Kante believes that taking care of business on the pitch will be the best way to allay the fans’ fears.

“We were not prepared, it came quickly,” Kante said.

“The only thing we can do because we don’t have control over these things is play as well as we always have.”

That is the only thing we have control over, and we want to succeed.”
