Chelsea received encouraging news on the injury front as they prepare for the Carabao Cup final against Liverpool on Sunday evening. The Blues welcomed back defenders Thiago Silva and Marc Cucurella to partial training sessions, providing a significant boost to their defensive options for the crucial showdown.

Both Silva and Cucurella will undergo additional training sessions in the lead-up to the final, allowing Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino the opportunity to evaluate their fitness levels and determine their availability for the match.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Pochettino confirmed the return of Silva and Cucurella, signaling a positive development for Chelsea as they aim to secure silverware against Liverpool.
