Players and staff of Chelsea football club will kick off their pre-season on Monday.

The players are expected to return to training as they prepare for the upcoming campaign.

Thomas Tuchel will be expecting the return of first-team players who have not been on international duty with their countries to return first as well as the academy players, along with squad members who spent their time out on loan.

Those who have been on international duty will return later on after being given an extended period off to have a break ahead of the campaign which starts next month.

They will then travel across the country to North Carolina and Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium to face the MLS side.

It will be followed by a match in Orlando against London rivals Arsenal in the Camping World Stadium.

Chelsea will be prepared ahead of the season opener on August 6, 2022, when they take on Everton before a London derby against Tottenham.
