Madueke left Spurs in 2018 for PSV Eindhoven and worked on himself to break into the first-team in 2020-2021 season, netting in nine goals in the process.

Report says the Dutch side were adamant to sell Madueke as they already off-loaded thier talisman Cody Gakpo to Liverpool this window. However, Chelsea were understood to be very much interested.

This deal will take Chelsea’s spending spree in the window to a whopping £190million, having already spent about £270million in the summer, and to £460million since Todd Boehly took over the club.

The PSV player will become Chelsea’s sixth signing of the January transfer window, following the likes of Mykhailo Mudrky, Joao Felix, Benoit Badiashile, David Datro Fofana and Andrey Santos.
