ICYMI: Chimamanda Loses Mother to Death | Daily Report Nigeria

Popular Nigerian author, Chimamanda Adichie has reportedly lost her mother, Mrs. Grace Ifeoma Adichie to death.

The Guardian reports that Mrs Adichie suddenly died on Monday, March 1, 2021, in Awka, the Anambra State capital.

“It was very sudden and we are devastated,”a family spokesperson said.

Mrs. Grace Ifeoma Adichie is survived by six children: Ijeoma , Uchenna , Chuks , Okechukwu , Chimamanda and Kenechukwu; and nine grandchildren, in-laws and other relatives.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by the family in a later date
