Nollywood star Chioma Chukwuka captured hearts at the 2025 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) after being announced as the Best Actress of the year — a moment that left her visibly emotional and moved to tears.

Chioma received the prestigious award for her outstanding performance in Seven Doors, a film directed by Femi Adebayo that garnered critical acclaim and audience admiration.

Shortly after the win, the veteran actress shared a tearful video on Instagram, expressing deep gratitude to her fans and giving glory to God.

Two Dispatch Riders Killed as Trucks Collide on Eko Bridge

Tragedy struck on Sunday along the Eko Bridge inward Alaka corridor in Lagos, as two dispatch riders lost their lives in a fatal accident involving two heavily loaded Mack trucks.

The vehicles, bearing registration numbers T-10357 LA and KJA 107 XM, were involved in a high-impact collision that led to the death of the riders, sparking grief and concern among commuters and residents in the area.
