A person has been reported to have suffered from and died of cholera which spread from Magboro to Abeokuta.
17 were also said to have been affected by such outbreak.
The cholera spreads mostly among the Commercial motorcyclists and scavengers in the area as revealed by a source.

Those infected have hurriedly been taken to the State Hospital, Ijaye, Abeokuta, for medical attention.
The state government has thereby warned residents against unwholesome habits and practices to abate the spread.
Residents of Magboro lamenting a week ago said, those 25 people who died of cholera were majorly Hausas.
However, the figure (25) claimed by residents was disproved by Tomi Coker, the state Commissioner for Health.

Coker said: “the state government has stationed an ambulance at the Sabo Primary Health Center, while also supplying all necessary commodities for immediate treatment of the disease.”
She added: ” treatment can be accessed at the health facility, as well as the General hospital free of charge. ”
On Thursday, government officials, led by Ola Oresanya, visited the community and embarked on fumigation and decontamination of homes and environment to suppress the spread of the disease.
