Chris Bassey Ditches Acting for Plumbing, Finds Success in Canada

Popular movie producer and actor Chris Bassey has shifted careers from the Nigerian entertainment industry to plumbing in Canada.

He revealed this transition during an Instagram live chat with Daddy Freeze, explaining that plumbing offers better pay and a more relaxed lifestyle compared to tech jobs.

When Daddy Freeze inquired about his new profession, Chris Bassey responded, “I’m into construction here.” Despite his surprise at the career change, Daddy Freeze questioned why Bassey made the switch given his previous fame.

Bassey, speaking in pidgin, explained, “In the last seven months, I’ve visited several provinces in Canada, and even tech workers can’t afford it. Here, it’s a different story compared to the UK or US.”
