Former Chelsea winger, Christian Atsu is reportedly ‘trapped under rubble’ as earthquake hits Turkey and Syria.
Atsu plays with Turkish club, Hatayspor following a move from Saudi Arabian side, Al-Raed in 2022.
Hatalyspor are currently based in the region of Kahramanmara, one of the areas mostly hit by the horrible earthquake.

The sad incident is said to have left well over 1000 people dead in both Turkey and Syria and the death count is predicted to rise to 10,000 after two earthquakes hit both countries.
The first was a 7.8 magnitude and the second a 7.5 magnitude earthquake which struck in the early hours of Monday morning.
Aside from Atsu, Hatayspor’s sporting director, Taner Savut, is also reportedly trapped under rubble.
