Speaking to Daily Report Nigeria, Deacon Amb. Anthony Ejiofor Nwagwu disclosed that Lightworld has made it a tradition to celebrate Christmas on December 24th every year with widows and less privileged people.

According to the industrialist, “widows are the most affected by the recent economic hardship in the country, and Lightworld has made it a prerogative responsibility to ensure that they are attended to.

“Some of them are suffering because they’re the bread winners of their families and some of them were doing nothing before their husbands died.

“We’re sharing rice and tokens og cash gifts to cushion the effect of the economic trouble they’re faced with.”

Amb Anthony who expressed gratitude God on how things went smoothly, said the company has been on the act in the last five years.

“Not because we have so much to give out, but because the bible said we should work to help those in need. Not because we have money stacked somewhere,” he added.

He also added that helping the needy in society is part of the vision of Lightworld Industries.

Guests, friends and beneficiaries poured encomiums on Mr. Anthony and the company for seeing the need to identify with the down trodden in society.

They called on other Nigerians to emulate the kind gesture of the Lightworld Industries management.

“There are those Nigerians who are caring and those who regard them, their prayer goes to the man behind this. It is not easy for somebody to lie up a whole village and bless them,” Actor Mr. Ibu said.

“You can barely count men that can do these. Some people are finding it difficult to feed, yet, there are lots of wealthy money who have chosen to stock their money as if they’ll go with it when they die. 600 widows, who does that?” Chiwetalu Agu Jnr questioned.

Some of the beneficiaries who spoke with our correspondent prayed God to uplift their benefactor for remembering them year after year.
