Chukwuebuka Enekwechi Advances to Shot Put Final at 2024 Olympics

Nigerian shot putter Chukwuebuka Enekwechi has secured a spot in the final of the men’s shot put event at the 2024 Olympic Games.

Enekwechi qualified for Saturday’s final by placing fifth in Group B with a throw of 21.13 meters.

At 31 years old, he is the first Nigerian athlete to reach a final at these Olympics. Four years ago, he also advanced to the shot put final in Tokyo.

Enekwechi will now aim to secure a podium finish in the upcoming final.
