A bizarre incident unfolded when a church member took drastic action against his pastor, accusing him of refusing to return an accidental tithe payment of one million naira.
The church member claimed he intended to send only N100,000 but mistakenly transferred the larger sum.
In a viral video, the church member is seen accompanied by armed police officers from the State CID, confronting the pastor at his residence.
He said:

“I brought the police here because of the money I mistakenly sent to your account. I meant to transfer N100,000, but I sent one million naira instead.
“Since then, I’ve been asking you to refund the excess N900,000, but you keep telling me it’s a spiritual matter and to go to God to collect my money.”
Meanwhile, the police authorities have yet to provide an update on the situation.
