A certain church member has reportedly stolen over twenty million nairas (N20.3m) from an offering box of Zion Prayer Movement Outreach Ministry.
The presiding pastor of Zion Prayer Movement Outreach Ministry, Evangelist Obi Chukwuebuka Anozie made the disclosure following the incident.
According to the Anozie, two congregants gave different cheques each as an offering during a church service.
One dropped an open cheque of N20m and the other, a cheque of N350, 000 in an offering box.

The Presiding Pastor explained that the two cheques were discovered missing at the close of the service.
The suspect was arrested during investigations but claimed to have found the cheques on the ground.
The unnamed suspect, however, refused to say the whereabouts of both cheques nor confirmed cashing them.
To further help the ongoing investigation, the preacher publicly called on whoever made the donations to reveal themselves.
