  • Portal to reopen for Nigeria’s paramilitary agencies on Monday, July 21, 2025.

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has temporarily suspended its recruitment application portal to improve system efficiency and manage the surge in applications.

The Secretary to the Board, Maj. Gen. AM Jibril (retd.), announced the development in a statement issued Wednesday in Abuja.

According to the statement, the suspension affects the portal dedicated to recruiting personnel into the board’s paramilitary agencies, including the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service, and Nigerian Correctional Service.
