AC Milan legend Clarence Seedorf has identified a crucial ‘missing link’ that he believes is hindering Arsenal’s success under manager Mikel Arteta.
Seedorf’s comments came after Arsenal’s 2-0 Champions League victory over Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday, where first-half goals from Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka secured the win.
In his post-match analysis on Amazon Prime, Clarence Seedorf stressed that Arsenal needs to make some adjustments to overcome their fear of winning.

“What’s that missing link to take that next step? Belief is one thing, but articulating it and executing it are two different matters,” the former Real Madrid star remarked.
Clarence Seedorf pointed out that during the second half, Arsenal retreated too early and too much, which he believes is unacceptable in the Champions League.
“Today PSG weren’t at their best, but against another team, you could end up suffering and they might score against you,” he explained.
Seedorf acknowledged Arsenal’s determination, saying, “I believe that Arsenal want it. They clearly have the desire, but two years ago they were so close, and it didn’t happen. So, there has to be something they need to adjust to overcome that fear of winning. However, I think they have the right coach, and I’m confident they’ve learned from past experiences.”
