Meanwhile, this year sees the biggest-ever tournament with 32 clubs.

After a rigorous Group Stage, the field is depleted to just eight.

The spotlight now falls on the Quarter-Finals where the big clubs collide for glory and the deep purse.

In addition, the victors would be recognised as the greatest in the world for the following four years.

Moreso, they’ll get FIFA’s exclusive gold champions badge.

Remaining in the mix are the titans of Europe: Real Madrid, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund.

Their consistency could be hinting to a big run ahead.

Here are the Club World Cup Quarter-finals fixtures:

Both Inter Milan and Manchester City bowing out earlier than expected—and with the Quarter-finals looming, more upsets could be on the horizon.

Spanish giants Real Madrid also exited the stage, falling to Juventus in a narrow one-goal defeat.

Benfica were eliminated by Chelsea after failing to maintain their momentum after defeating Bayern Munich in their last group stage encounter.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan suffered a disappointing 2–0 loss to Fluminense, while Messi’s Inter Miami were handed a heavy 4–0 thrashing by Champions League holders Paris Saint-Germain.
