Manchester United have officially announced the signing of Danish striker Rasmus Højlund from Atalanta, a Serie A club.

Højlund has joined United on a contract that will extend until June 2028, with an option for a further year, pending international clearance.

At just 20 years old, the talented striker has an impressive track record, scoring 27 goals in 87 club appearances, including 10 goals during his time at Atalanta in Italy last season.

He has also represented Denmark at the senior international level and scored six goals in six appearances.
