Napoli manager Antonio Conte has expressed his disappointment over the club’s inability to sell Victor Osimhen this summer.
Conte also hinted that he has no intention of reintegrating the Nigerian striker into the squad.
Speaking after Napoli’s 2-1 victory over Parma, in which Osimhen’s replacement Romelu Lukaku scored off the bench, Conte addressed the situation surrounding Osimhen.

The striker’s proposed move to Chelsea fell through on transfer deadline day due to the club’s failure to meet his salary demands.
With Lukaku now in the team, Osimhen may struggle to get playing time under Conte. “I’m happy with the work the club did in the market,” Conte said, as reported by Fabrizio Romano. “If Victor Osimhen had been sold, we would have completed the situation… but I’m happy.”
