Popular Nigerian cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Anuoluwapo Adepoju has reportedly died.

Daily Report Nigeria reports that the convicted surgeon died of an unknown ailment on Sunday.

This was revealed by veteran investigative journalist and pharmacists, Dr. Kemi Olunloyo.

Taking to her verified social handles, Dr. Olunloyo wrote;

Dr Anu has died after all this conviction and botched BBL surgery lawsuits, she died of an unknown ailment. Life is vanity upon vanity

Dr. Anuoluwapo Adepoju became popular after botched surgeries led to the death of a patient.

The founder of MedContour Services Ltd was convicted by a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos State for conducting a failed plastic surgery that led to the death of one Nneka Onwuzuligbo in 2020.

The late cosmetic surgeon was convicted in all five counts charged by FCCPC, commending his input and the judiciary for serving justice.

The FCCPC had accused the Dr. Adepoju of shunning summons by the agency to appear and produce a certain document.
