The list of award winners and prize money for Copa America 2024 have been confirmed following the conclusion of the competition on Sunday.
Argentina defeated Colombia 1-0 in the Copa America 2024 final in Miami, USA, to retain the trophy. Lautaro Martinez scored the game’s only goal in the 112th minute, marking his fifth goal of the competition. This performance earned him the Golden Boot as the tournament’s top scorer.
The South American Football Confederation (Conmebol) will pay out a total of $72 million to the 16 participating teams, with each team receiving $2 million just for competing. The prize money increases as teams advance through the rounds, culminating in the top four teams determined in the semi-finals.

The team that wins the third-place match will receive $5 million, while the fourth-place team will get $4 million. The runner-up of the tournament will receive $7 million, and the champion will take home $16 million, to be distributed among players, coaching staff, and the national federation.
