The Legislative Arm of Shiroro Local Government Council of Niger State has called on the state Governor, Abubakar Bello to set up an investigative Committee against it’s suspended Chairman, Sulaiman Chukuba
The call was made by the Leader of the House, Yusuf Aliyu in Minna, warning the suspended Chairman against making any attempt to go to the Council Secretariat.
Yusuf Aliyu, expressed confidence that setting up the Committee will give both parties the opportunity of telling their stories

The Leader observed that despite efforts by the suspended Chairman to have himself cleared off the allegations, the suspension remains.
The Councillors are requesting that the Committee conducts its duties in accordance with the tenets of the law.
They further appealed to Security Agencies not to allow Sulaiman Chukuba access to the Council Secretariat within the period of his suspension.
Recall that Hon Sulaiman Chukuba was suspended last week by the Councillors following an alleged corruption and embezzlement of Council funds.
He was issued a six months suspension and his reinstatement is dependent on his ability to clear his name.
