Three people have lost their lives in a gruesome Ibadan Fire outbreak.

Reporting reaching Daily Report Nigeria shows that two grown ups, and a young child lost their lives in the inferno.
A ghastly fire accident which occurred in the Ori-Eru, Idikan area of Ibadan, Oyo State has claimed the lives of three people.
According to reports, the fire outbreak occurred in a storey building in the early hours of today, Friday, December 20, claiming the life of a couple and their grandson.

Confirming the incident, Yemi Akinyinka, the General Manager of the Oyo state fire service Agency, said the agency received a distress call at about 3:46am on Friday, notifying them of the fire outbreak.
“On arrival, we found the upper floor of a six-room residential storey building engulfed in flames. We swiftly swung into action, and the fire was completely extinguished,” he said.

He added that upon arrival, the operatives worked hard in putting out the fire and reaching 5 victims, but sadly the trio were affected by the fire.
He further explained that they had made a naked fire the night before, with the hopes of using it to warm themselves because of the cold.
“From our investigation, we discovered that in their attempt to keep their house warm due to the cold weather, they resorted to using a naked flame, which led to the fire disaster after they had fallen asleep,” he added
This is another disaster which comes days after a gruesome stampede at Islamic High school in Oyo Ibadan state following a children’s giveaway event being hosted in the venue.
