According to the counsel to Mohbad’s father, the court has picked three DNA laboratory centers – two in the UK and one in the US – to conduct the tests. “The court has eventually picked three DNA Laboratory centers, two in the UK and one in the US. One from us, one from them and the court picked an independent one,” the counsel said.
The matter has been adjourned to April 7 for the parties to report on the picking of samples. The Aloba family’s legal team is set to ensure they have a representative at each of the centers where the samples will be delivered and the test carried out.
“The matter has been adjourned to the 7th of April for us to report on the picking of samples. Prior before then, we would have made arrangement with the welfare officers to ensure that samples are taken which will be supervised by the welfare officers and it will be monitored,” the counsel added.
