The caretaker secretary of the All progressives Congress in Osun State, Rasaq Salinsile, was on Monday arraigned before a Magistrates’ Court in Osogbo, the osun state capital.
Rasaq and other allies of former Governor Rauf Aregbesola were arraigned before the court over alleged conspiracy and assault.
Others who appeared alongside Salinsile include; the chairman of The Osun Progressives, Lowo Adebiyi, Kazeem Salami, former Commissioner for Youth, Sports and Special Needs, Mr. Biyi Odunlade, Gbenga Akano, Alaba Popoola and Azeez Adekunle.

The defendants however, pleaded not guilty to the charge before Magistrate Olusegun Ayilara, and were granted bail.
Two factions of the APC in Osun State had clashed last week at the party’s secretariat in Osogbo, with several persons sustaining varying degrees of injuries.
