A Central Area Court sitting in Kasuwan Nama 1, Jos, Plateau State has dissolved an 8-year-old marriage between one Samira Makama and her husband, Muhammed Musa.
The marriage was dissolved on Thursday, November 17, after Samira Makama complained of her husband inability to cater for the family.
A panel of judges made up of Malam Sadiq Adam and Mr Hyacinth Dolnanan, in granting the request made by Makama, said all efforts to reconcile both parties had failed.

The judges therefore ordered the petitioner and respondent to go their separate way.
The court, however, instructed that the respondent provide monthly upkeep for his children and also pay their school fees.
The wife had earlier pleaded with the court to dissolve their marriage of 8 years saying her husband had failed to cater for her and their two children.
She told the court that her husband had initially divorced her twice according to Islamic rites and that he had also cut off conjugal relationship with her.
She said that she was at the court to seek the dissolution of her marriage to the respondent.
